Great news for our little family! Alejandro got a job on the next property over caretaking the land!

Our neighbor was going to sell it, and we really wanted to buy it, but we couldn't afford it, so we just let it go.
Then he took it off the market and asked Alejandro to help take care of it with the option to have livestock on the property!

Yayyyy for a no commute job (if you live rurally, you know how big a deal that is)! Also, yayyy for my honey getting to do what he loves most - working with Nature!

So far, he has cleared most of the orchard of dead grass and has dug swales around the fruit trees (avocado, membrillo, lemon, pomegranate, and guava). It's a beautiful large property with oaks, sycamore trees, olive trees, and lots of fertile earth.

Today's project was getting the river water running and connecting a long hose to the orchard so the thirsty trees could access water.
🌳
Goddess is good!
